Though Basil originated from India, it was perfected in the Mediterranean. It has such a long history of use and dates back over 4,000 years. This is an heirloom variety of genuine Italian basil in micro form. Its flavor is intense, fragrant and floral. One tiny stem has the taste of several full-sized basil leaves.
