Daikon Cress (AKA Kaiware)

Daikon Cress is a very popular item in Japan, where it is called ‘kaiware’ (The Japanese name for radish is Daikon). These heart-shaped leaves are crunchy, juicy, and bursting with a peppery radish flavor. It is great added to salads, soups and especially with sushi. In fact, the Japanese rarely serve sushi without it!
